The “Eastern Partnership Youth Window” will support European Voluntary Service projects, youth exchanges and training and networking projects. In addition to the programme priorities, the “Eastern Partnership Youth Window” will focus on the support of to young people with fewer opportunities living in rural or deprived urban areas and projects raising awareness about the nature and specific value of youth work. The Partnership includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

At the beginning of December, the new programme guide for the Youth in Action programme has been published. It includes the necessary information about the priorities, actions and main features of the Programme as well as the criteria and conditions on how to participate. The Programme Guide will be valid as of the 1st of January 2012 and will replace the current one. For 2012 and 2013 an “Eastern Partnership Youth Window” is foreseen. It will support cooperation between the countries of the EU and the neighbouring countries of east Europe in the field of youth. The national agencies will have access to a budget of 19 million Euros for the implementation of Youth in Action in the context of the Eastern Partnership.
