Until 23 January 2012 it is possible to apply for the European Charlemagne Youth Prize 2012. Each year, the prize is awarded by the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International Charlemagne Prize to projects undertaken by young people between 16 and 30 years that foster understanding, promote the development of a shared sense of European identity, and offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community.
The best project is awarded with €5.000, the second with €3.000 and the third with €2.000. The prize will be handed over to the laureates by the President of the European Parliament in Aachen. Applications are possible here. |
