On the occasion of the presentations of the Commission’s plans for the new “Erasmus for all” programme, the Youth Forum has started a public campaign for an independent Youth in Action Programme and investments in young people across the next EU budget. The initiative aims at mobilising young people from all over Europe to support the Youth Forum’s call for a European youth policy as a financial and a political priority.   

The Youth Forum renewed its request of a revised separate Youth in Action Programme as the only EU programme that provides support to youth work, non-formal education and youth organisations in Europe.
Currently, the Youth Forum represents the interests of 98 youth organisations and national youth councils towards the European Institutions and the Council of Europe.
