2011-11-25 This article is not available in English. Seit dem vergangenen Jahr gibt es im Europäischen Parlament eine Intergroup zum Thema Jugend. Intergroups bringen verschiedene Mitglieder des Parlaments zu einem bestimmten Thema zusammen. Nun hat sich die Intergroup Jugend mit einer Stellungnahme zum Programmentwurf „Erasmus für alle“ gemeldet, den die Kommission in dieser Woche vorgelegt hat. |

2011-11-25 On the occasion of the presentations of the Commission’s plans for the new “Erasmus for all” programme, the Youth Forum has started a public campaign for an independent Youth in Action Programme and investments in young people across the next EU budget. The initiative aims at mobilising young people from all over Europe to support the Youth Forum’s call for a European youth policy as a financial and a political priority.

2011-11-16  On 15 November the European Commission has adopted its Work Programme for 2012. The Commission not only describes the challenges for the next year but also gives first information on the package of proposals expected to be launched within the next weeks. Particularly interesting: The Commission announces a new programme “Erasmus for all”, that will include education, training and youth.

2011-11-02 On 26 October, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the European Commission's Agenda for new skills and jobs. The Agenda is one of seven flagships initiatives the European Commission presented in the context of the EU 2020 strategy. In its resolution, the Parliament calls for an improvement of the Commission’s proposal. |
